Finally some good news

I finally got difficult child 1 into a new psychiatrist. She has put him on a mood stablizer. She could not believe that the old psychiatrist did not have him on one. He has lost 5 1/2pds in 3 weeks on this new medication. So far I have seen a little bit of a difference. I am hoping to see a bigger difference in due time. He is on geodon 60mg. I am changing difficult child 2 to this new psychiatrist also. Everything else is going okay. Just wanted to update. :bravo:

Lamictal is a mood stabilizer. Geodon is an atypical antipsychotic (not a mood stabilizer). Both are used to treat bipolar disorder.
