Thanks for the link! psychiatrist put Kanga and Eeyore on fish oil years ago. I'm sometimes lax on getting more when we run out - never again! Kanga is already psychotic and Eeyore has very mild warning signs so this is so important to us.

K takes 4000 mg she has for almost 2 years now. When I showed this to husband he sarcastically said, "It aint working so far!"
But seriously, who knows if it has helped, maybe it has decreased her issues? They could be worse. It is so hard to measure these things.
She has had less psychotic episodes and she is not on an AP. So who knows?
The doctor's will not diagnosis her with Schizophrenia yet, not until it is clear cut and not possibly signs of her BiPolar (BP).

We all use:

Barlean's Organic Oils orange flavored 1000mg. Omega-3 EPA/DHA
These have a great reputation and are one of the few that we all can take and have honestly no after taste! No burping up!

My older two could swallow a golf ball if they needed to, so we just use the storebrand Fish Oil (1200mg X 4).

Totoro- thanks for the link, I'm going to try that for my younger two as they have trouble swallowing large pills.
