Flooding - We are OK

Just in case you all see reports on the weather and flooding in OK, we are doing fine. Oklahoma City got over 9 inches this morning alone and is having a lot of trouble. Our town in mostly doing fine. We don't even have the little river going through the yard that we often get in hard rain.

husband was doing another phase of census work today and had to stop at about 1 because he couldn't stop on any of the roads in the little towns he was in. They were mostly unpaved roads (very common with all the clay around here) and too muddy to safely stop on.

Just didn't want anyone to worry!

I'm glad you are o.k.!! I've been watching some of the videos of the flooding-very scary!!

Glad you are OK. My friend in Tulsa was supposed to go to OKC today for work but she stayed home instead. Her boss called and said she wasn't able to make it in either. We have had rain here and some flooding in Nebraska (not in my town) but not nearly as severe as what you are having there. Maybe we should all go together and build an ark.
