How'd it go at the new docs? Wasn't it this week? It's been nuts around here, so I haven't gotten to look and see when the appointment. was.

Thank you for thinking of me, Beth.

I saw the neuro on Monday and went back today for a single fiber emg and a repetitive stimulant emg. Repetitive stimulant emg was normal. It will take a couple days to analyze the single fiber emg, but he expects it to be normal. So, no more diagnosis, no answers.

He asked if I had been tested for Ankylosing Spondylitis, which I have been - over 3 years ago. It's one of the first things I was tested for.

He said it's definitely something (duh) which is what all the doctors say and then pass me on to another specialist. After almost 4 years, I don't think there are many more tests they can do. And I think I'm done looking. I can't go through the emotional roller coaster anymore.

Thank you, Mary.

I am just focusing now on finding peace and acceptance. I can no longer keep trying to find answers that just aren't there.

Heather! I'm so sorry...I think you're right on going the peace and acceptance route for now. I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to check in on your answer - difficult child 1 and 3 have been putting me through the wringer and 2 hasn't been that great either.

I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to keep digging around and watching for any new neurological insights that may eventually come down the pipe! I won't rattle your cage about anything unless it looks promising.

Always keep the flashlights handy! If anything, they'll give you a laugh!

Love ya!
Beth
