In fact it did happen that my son's teacher gave him a recess detention at the beginning of the year. He's never not turned in work--what had happened was he was so overwhelmed by a huge leap in expectations in terms of managing his materials and homework. I didn't think it was right that he be punished for that and if the teacher wouldn't have agreed we would have been in a full IEP meeting within the ten days. </p><p></p><p>Good luck wiht this.</p></blockquote><p></p>
