[QUOTE="Scent of Cedar *, post: 677443, member: 17461"] Here is the cookie recipe, everyone. :O) *** 375 degrees / 10 -12 minutes 1 c butter 1 1/2 c sugar 2 eggs 1 1/2 tsp orange zest 2 Tblsp orange juice 1 tsp vanilla 1 Tblsp apple cider vinegar Beat butter til fluffy. Add other ingreds one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift into separate bowl: 3 1/2 c flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt Add flour mixture to butter/egg mixture beating just until mixed. Add: 2 c cranberries (halved or quartered) 1 c finely chopped pecans Place by tablespoonful onto aluminum foil covered cookie sheet. Bake on top shelf of 375 degree oven 10 to 12 minutes. Cookies will be very sweet. I did not frost them. Recipe recommended the cookies be drizzled with: 1/2 t orange zest 3 Tblsp orange juice 1 1/2 c shifted powdered sugar Very pretty cookies. They smell great and freeze well. Enjoy! Cedar * The apple cider vinegar interacts with baking soda, making the cookies very light. There is no vinegar taste. I use vinegar in my pastry, too.
