[QUOTE="svengandhi, post: 677811, member: 3493"] daughter and I have a trip to Vegas planned for February. She is 24. Neither of us has ever been there before. We have tickets to a (LOL!) Britney Spears concert and hope to get to see Celine Dion but we're not sure if she'll be back to performing by the time we go. We are also planning to take a day bus trip to the Grand Canyon but we're not sure what to do beyond that. We are flying from the East Coast on a Wed. morning and taking the red eye home the following Monday. Any suggestions? I am not into outdoor sports, climbing or anything like that. As for food, we are not gourmets and daughter leans more towards vegan-ish On other notes, oldest boy finally has a job, which I hope will become permanent before he's off my health insurance this summer (bless you, Obama, for allowing them to stay on to 26). Difficult child is planning on changing his major from poli sci to math, so I'm looking at an additional year in college for him, at least, but he has said that he is opening to returning to counseling for his anxiety and depression. 19 is progressing in the ambulance corps, but after failing or dropping all 13 of his credits last semester at CC, he is now taking only one class this semester. Baby boy is starting the college search but has failed the road test twice, so he is not a happy camper. The other 4 all passed the first time and even I passed on the second try. H is still petrified about the knee surgery so I am looking into acupuncture for him. mother in law swore by it for her back pain years ago and I actually found it very helpful for my hot flashes when I went through menopause.
