Going for IEP! YIKES

Well it is time. We are setting up for K's first IEP.
Her Teacher thinks she needs one set up for next year as does her Nuero-psychiatric.

Her Nuero-psychiatric will be at the meeting. The School Psychologist agrees as well.
They are trying to map out times that will work for everyone.
I am nervous and excited.

Our School thus far has been so wonderful with K. Ms. T her Teacher wants to make sure K is taken care of next year.
She told me this morning that she will follow her through her time at the school and advocate for her.
She feels strongly about her Special Needs kids.
I hope they give us what she needs and there are no battles. Now I just wait and see when the meeting is.

wow that sounds great and very hopeful. i'm glad that you aren't running into walls like i am that's great and K will benefit so very much from it!
