Good Morning All! We've made it to the half way mark!!

It's Wednesday, so I'm heading to the gym for water fitness class shortly. It's gotten cold again so it's tough! But, it's a necessary evil .

easy child is still sick, she showed some signs of her fever breaking last night and actually had an appetite and ate a whole bowl of chicken soup. I hope, when she wakes, her fever is still down. It may mean no mono!! Keep your fingers crossed.

difficult child is doing well. They have been working on clay stop-animation in his animation class. He finished yesterday and was all about it on the way home. I can't wait to see it! I'm thinking about looking at the summer classes offered by this art center for him.

I'm the upstairs maid today. My house is way too big to tackle in one day so I do it in sections! Think of me as I'm scrubbing, vacuuming, and dusting !

Good Morning!

Sharon-I hope easy child's fever is down. No mono would be a very good thing. How cool that difficult child is loving his art class! Try to take some breaks with all that cleaning!

Another night when I didn't sleep well. difficult child had a rough evening and I ended up staying up way too late just destressing. I read and then watched a late night Law and Order.

I hope easy child is ready on time today as it is snowing so it will be slippery. After work we are having our monthly staffing for difficult child.

Maybe tonight we'll make it to the club but we'll see.

Sharon (ldm), fingers crossed that PCs fever is down & mono isn't in the picture.

Sharon (with-o), seems to me that you need to schedule all your appts & such around regularly set gym times during the work week. Choose a couple of days you & husband ARE going & make it like a date. Sorry difficult child kept you up so very late.

kt had a wonderful day at her first day back at day treatment. She met a girl who lives close to here & they met after school & came over here. PCA was here & keeping them both in line. L had to be home by 4 because she has a mentor that she works with 3 times a week. kt felt less "babyish" because of her PCA after that.

I have an assessment mtg for wm this afternoon. This morning is (fingers crossed) is cleaning the living/dining room areas. Like LDM I break my house down by sections to be cleaned daily. Makes things a bit more manageable.

It's snowing this morning ~ not much but enough to make traffic crazy. The flakes are big & floating down. Should melt away quickly this time of year in time for another snow storm.

Sharon/LDM, how high is easy child's fever? That can also be an indication. I hope it's just flu. difficult child's film project sounds like fun! Move over, Nick Park!

Sharon/WO, I can relate to the late nights de-stressing. When you can wind DOWN watching Law & Order, you know it's been a bad day!

Linda, I'm glad kt sems to be settling in well. How lovely that she has a good friend already!

difficult child 3 had a productive morning with schoolwork, plus continued to do some work while we were on the way to his appointments. Both appointments were in the same place but one was therapist and the other was another research project. We finished late, then went to husband's work to collect him for the trip home.

Heard from daughter in law this morning, it blew a lot of my plans out of the water. difficult child 1 haslost his job (economic down-turn is the reason) plus they got a "final demand or we take you to court" letter from the car crash, they want $15,000 immediately and difficult child 1 just hasn't got it. So daughter in law is running around trying to find out what to tell the solicitor, as well as trying to find ways to keep the bailiffs from the door. I keep trying to tell her - it will be OK, just stay strong. We won't let them go under, family is watching and ready to help when the moment is right. But if we just hand money over, it will just prolong the agony and cost us a fortune.

Tomorrow morning husband & I see the pain specialist then later on I see the rheumatologist. daughter in law & difficult child 1 are coming to dinner (council of war) so I think we need to make some written notes and put some clear plans in place so neither of them will panic. My final instruction for her was, "Don't pay until you see the whites of their receipts."

I'll have some waiting aorund tomorrow, then it's head home and get busy cooking and tidying.

Little Dude's Mom - I hope easy child is feeling better. It is great that difficult child has found something he really enjoys.​

Wiped Out - I hope you can catch up on sleep tonight. How is difficult child feeling today?​

Timer - I am glad KT had a good day and met a new friend. I hope this new friend turns out to be a good and true friend.​

Marg - Yes, time for a plan to help the kids stay focus and not panic too much. #1, know that you do not have to make immediate decisions no matter how much you are pressured. Just tell the other side you will take this to your lawyer and get back to them. Then bring it to mom and dad.​

I believe I have my 2nd graders today. Then I will continue shopping for Friday's workshops. Diva suggested I look in Ben Franklin for keychain board games to give to the kids in the K'Nex and Board Game workshop. I found plastic blackbears for the blackbear workshop, first aide kits for the health workshop, and plastic horses that neigh for the horse workshop. I also need to get the brownie mix, eggs, and foil pans for the brownie workshop. (The person leading states she has enough oil)​

It is super cold here today! It is also picture day for difficult child. We skipped the Fall pictures because the Spring ones are more fun.​

difficult child was up at 2:00 am unable to sleep. So, I was up from then until about 3:30 am unable to sleep. The super cold weather is not helping to motivate me to get going but I had better.​

Good morning, everyone,

I don't have alot of time ~ but wanted to drop in and say hey! B's P.O. is stopping by this morning for some paperwork to release him so he can enlist. Then I have to get him to the DMV.

Gonna get my 3 miles in. Take care of the dogs. There's alot going on in the Janna house right now ~ will try to update soon.
