Good Wednesday Morning All!

A big storm blew through here last night and you can hardly see the pavement through the leaves! I woke this morning hearing about tornado warnings and power outages - I slept through the whole thing!

I've a few little things to do around the house this morning then easy child and I will hit the road from some errands and a trip to the grocers.

Hope your day is a good one!

Morning ladies.
Certainly getting cold here, and I'm not liking it one bit. Still trialing the Hibernator on the Abilify, I was not impressed with it yesterday as I've seen resurgences of the anger she had on medications that didn't agree with her. psychiatrist's office must think I'm an hysteric at this point and tell me to give it more time (how much time?). I did do what they suggested and asked her teacher if she improved as the day went on yesterday, and since she did I'll go ahead and give it a little longer. They asked me why psychiatrist hasn't sent her to a specialist yet. I was nice enough to NOT spit out my first few answers for that, but hopefully if his nurses get on case about it, too, he'll finally give that referral everyone working her case is pushing for when she goes in next week.

Good Morning Ladies!

LDM, you really didn't have to share the nasty weather with us - really. :) I think our rain and general yuckiness ended sometime last night. Now maybe I can let the dogs out without getting an outline of everywhere they've been when they come back in. Brings to mind those little dotted line maps from Bugs Bunny whenever they "traveled" great distances. lol

HaoZi, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. been there done that with everyone screaming and the one hold-out being the guy who signs the checks...er, referral slip. lol. Frustrating. Love the Hibernator tag though...I have two of those. They only come out to feed, or complain, or ask for a ride. :)

I think I'm going to skip my to-do list and go back to bed. Perhaps the laundry and housework fairies will come while I'm snoozing and magically make it all clean and sparkly for me. (No, I do NOT need medications. I'm just an eternal optimist.)

Have work to do today, as well, but that's every day. According to difficult child 2, I work 24/7 and only sleep 2 hours a night. He didn't appreciate my pointing out that his math would never work that way. lol.

Good morning kids. We got socked with a storm last night after 12M. Our power was out almost 5hrs. No tornadoes fortunately but lots of wind and lots of debris laying around. I'm pretty sure we were on the outer bands of the storm. I had two very anxious dogs for a couple of hours. Good thing husband is in Mississippi. I ended up on the floor with a big comforter and several pillows(plus 2 dogs) for a few hours until the lightening eased up.
Spent a frustrating day trying to deal with automated phone systems and getting a human person. Nothing seemed to go the way it should and I felt frustrated and annoyed.
Hopefully, I will attack trying to change medication insurance, get prescriptions transferred and make sure difficult child gets what he needs without ending up on the 6PM news.
Maybe I will force myself to take a deep breath, finish my coffee(hmj): ) and even do a little exercise to get rid of the pent up aggression. I'll start the day with a clean slate and attack all the things on the "to do" list.
Hope your Wed. is productive.

Good Morning Everyone:bloodshot::coffee2::coffee:,

Sharon (LDM), Glad you got a good night's rest - You must have been exhausted not to wake from the storm... It's always nice to wake to hot water, electricity, but most important, so happy you're safe!!!

HaoZi, While it's getting cold where you are, it's in the 50's and raining here. I'm glad it's not SNOW!!! Hope things start to improve for you and your difficult child - It is so frustrating in the beginning, waiting for things to happen always seemed to me to be like eternity... Keeping my fingers crossed you have a good day...

LDM, I've been taking your advice and trying to stay off of my foot as much as possible. It's still swollen, just slightly painful. I'm going to stay off it as much as possible for the rest of the week. Hopefully, it'll start to get better - With my new health insurance plan, I want to avoid doctors except for a major medical emergency, until the first of the year. Otherwise, I'll end up paying not only for my monthly premiums, but also for all of my care in full. It's a calendar year deductible so once January rolls around, I have to start all over again... I HATE HEALTH INSURANCE!!! OK, enough venting this morning, lol...

I'm on my third cup of caffeine. I've got a load of laundry in the machine and two more to go after that. I only have a couple hours of work today and might head to the library to pick up a book that I ordered at the beginning of the summer - It finally came in:D.

difficult child 2 has social skills after school today. He really doesn't like the class but he knows it is a good idea for him to attend. Hopefully he'll be in a decent mood when I pick him up...

Hope everyone has at least one reason to laugh or at least smile today... SFR

I guess I'm pretty S L O W this morning. My fingers just don't seem to want to get going, lol...

Hexemaus2, When the laundry and housework fairies are done at your house, PLEASE send them to mine, lol...!!!

Fran, Being without power is the absolute pitts! However, like I said to LDM, I'm just so happy you're safe!!! It must have been one scary storm!!! I can totally relate to your feelings about automated phone systems... I also spent way too much time on the phone yesterday trying to resolve a problem with difficult child 2's medicaid. NOT FUN!!! I think the exercise is a good idea - Wish I could join you!!! It always seems to help me. Hope today is a much better day for you!!! SFR
