Good Monday morning, friends......

It's another rainy morning....the forecast promises a dreary wet day today. Sigh. Had the same rain all day yesterday. Kinda gets to a person at times.

I've a busy week with doctor appts & such. For me, for kt & possibly for wm. It will be the first time to have an attachment therapist appointment with wm since late June. If it doesn't happen this week, I believe the plan is for next Tuesday morning.

husband is working from home the next 3 weeks; sometimes the man really gets in the way of my daily routine. However, I appreciate the savings in gas/parking expenses.

Enjoy your day - hope it's calm & meltdown free. Hug your loved ones.

G'day, Linda.

It's been a hot day here today, with tomorrow even hotter - another total fire ban day. There is supposed to be an evening storm coming through tomorrow.

husband & I had to see the pain specialist today, which was awkward because difficult child 3 also was supposed to have a maths exam - first day back of Term 4. I COULD have given him the exam tomorrow, but we got home in time for difficult child 3 to do the exam after lunch.

Meanwhile easy child 2/difficult child 2 had apparently been frantically telephoning me during her lunch break - she only just got home to finally explain, she wanted me to call her doctor and give her the name of the psychologist she wants to see.

The pain specialist - no changes as yet. Just the usual consult, "You're still here, you're still taking these medications, you seem to be ticking along nicely, see you in three months."

I've got difficult child 1 home tonight, but BF2 is staying with friends tonight. Too bad, he misses out on roast chicken. I gotta go, it's time to carve...

Enjoy your Monday, everyone.

Good Morning,

Linda-I hope you have time for relaxing and napping with all of those appointments.

Marguerite-Roast chicken? Set an extra plate for me! Sounds like you had a very busy day. I hope your storms come through and they can lift the fire ban.

It's back to work today after a three day weekend. The wedding was very nice. I ended up doing a reading and helping with a lot of other little things. Parts of the weekend were very nice like the wedding but difficult child continues his downward spiral (but that's a story for another post).

Both my football teams won this weekend (sorry LDM about your Redskins but I was happy for the Packers :fan:).

Like Linda we are supposed to have a rainy day, in fact, a very rainy week.

After work I have to hurry home because it is time for a home visit for difficult child's Katie Beckett application. We have to reapply every year and every other year it's a home visit.

Then it will be time to whisk difficult child to Religious Ed. class. After all of that husband and I will hit the health club. I haven't been in three days and that isn't good!

I hope everyone enjoys a peaceful, no meltdown Monday! Hi if you snuck in! :ghost:

Good morning Linda, Marg & Sharon. Sorry I've been scarce. My mornings have been quite hectic lately. Nothing big on tap today: a few errands, groceries & maybe some cleaning. Have a great day! :autumn:

Good morning, all! I finally finished painting the bathroom -- did you guess that difficult child just HAD to end up with paint on him? Looking forward to another hectic week, since my boss and a few others are out of town this week. Means more people come looking for me and they know all of my hiding places. Hope everyone has a good day!

Hi everyone,
I am not at all surprised that difficult child ended up with-paint on him, RFTS. Should I be?
Fran, congrats on the furniture. Yay!
Sorry about the burning ban, Marg. We're having a drought here, too.
Send us some of your rain, Linda and Sharon. I do remember those dreary days, back when I lived in MN.
Good luck with-your errands, TM.

Roll With It
Good morning all!

I woke to the phone with my bro asking if he should call in sick today?? I don't work with him, near him, or even know where he goes to work, other than in general terms. I uh huh'ed a few times and we hung up. Then he called back, and so I said that if he was going to be home, could he take thank you to school when he ran out for car parts in a minute?

Big Toothy Grin here!!!

He came, ON TIME!!! and took thank you to school so I don't have to drive (I feel very nervous driving with my neck this stiff and sore). I had just gotten lunch packed and the school menu checked, and thank you was all ready to go!

It is off to do my stretching and call the ins co to see what they have approved, and what they need to approve more.

Hugs to all!

Susie

Good Morning Ladies,

It isn't going so good here. My van was broke into last night. You think you move to a good area and then it happens right in front of your nose. Makes me sick that people can be so crooked. Then my niece refused to ride the bus with "that boy", so my mother had to stay home to drive them because of course the law enforcement are slow on Mondays here..might be everywhere?

Anyway, I plan on making some kind of worry free crockpot meal with cornbread and honey butter. Cooking time is pure chaos for my youngest.

I wish you all a stress free, rage free and relaxing day. We all deserve those once in a while.

Morning everyone! Looks like I will be cleaning house today. We spent the weekend with difficult child's grandparents.
It's pouring rain here today so looks like we will be staying in.

The Diagnostician at difficult child's school called this morning. Her next IEP will be Friday morning. :hypnosis:
