Good Morning Saturday

G'day folks. I'm having a few computer problems again.

A full day today, but not too bad.

First - an early departure to take easy child 2/difficult child 2 to her new specialist to discuss the surgery. She has CIN III on the cervix but this doctor said not to worry, it will be easily removed with a high chance of getting it all with no further problems. He talked her into having the procedure done in his rooms under local - it had been scheduled a few weeks ago to be done under general, but the anaesthetist chickened out because of a possible bleeding disorder. Only the other day, easy child 2/difficult child 2's blood tests at last showed she doesn't have the bleeding disorder so the risks are now much less. SIL2 had been panicking about the general anaesthetic for his wife so he will feel happier. easy child 2/difficult child 2 was anxious about the procedure being done under local, but the doctor was really reassuring. So it was a very productive appointment.

After that I stayed out on the mainland as I had a meeting to follow, but I catnapped in the car while I waited. The meeting went well, I catnapped again on the way home.

Tomorrow is another full day. I have a naming day for a friend's baby; the monthly artists' open day is on; the next village has its annual art and craft fair (always worth a visit - the artwork is often on display right out into the bay, you either walk out or wade out to look at it, depending on the tide). Then in the evening we've got tickets to "Fame!" in the city. difficult child 3 is determined that he will hate it, but we will see how he feels afterwards. We'll need to organise dinner for ourselves (usually afterwards). We usually eat at a favourite Chinese restaurant in the city, but difficult child 3 currently hates Chinese food so that could be a problem.

I'm looking forward to it all, even though it will be challenging to try to fit it all in. The local artists day - as long as I get to visit one particular artist, I will be happy. We missed last month's, we were away in the country for my niece's wedding.

Weather - it's been cool and wet. Not heavy rain (not everywhere), just a persistent drizzle. My garden loves it and while I'm so busy I don't really care. At least I'm not missing out on beach weather where I would feel resentful at not being able to get to the beach. But on the radio this morning they were discussing giving a name to this mixture of spring and winter - "sprinter" was suggested. I think, given the amount of rain, we should consider "sprinkle".

difficult child 3's exams begin on Monday. He had to get his own anti-anxiety medications today from the pharmacy, since I was out of the village during opening hours. And he did it - a first for him!

Enjoy your Saturday, whatever your weather.

Good Morning,

Marg-I'm glad easy child/difficult child 2 will be able to have the surgery under local. Sounds like they should be able to get it all which is obviously great news! Just reading about your day tomorrow has me tired but it does sound like a fun day!!

Our temps are at 24 right now but we will be climbing to 50 so sounds like a nice day ahead. I'm off to work in a bit. Later this morning husband is taking difficult child and easy child/difficult child to see Megaminds. I have no interest in seeing it so I will get some alone time! Michigan is playing early so I'll watch that. Hopefully later husband and I will head to the health club and at some point I need to get to the grocery store. I have my meals planned for the next week as I try to start getting back on track with my healthy eating.

Wishing everyone a peaceful day:flower:

Morning ladies.
Let me know what the kids think of Megamind, that and Tangled look cute, but kiddo surprised me when she agreed that Unstoppable looks pretty good, too.
Hope your daughter's procedure goes smoothly Marg, and maybe skipping all that MSG wouldn't be a bad thing for difficult child 3 ;)
There's a light dusting of snow on the tops of vehicles today but not on the road so far. Kiddo has eye doctor appointment later this morning, just gave her her medications and let her go back to sleep. Hopefully the time change will help with her mornings.

Morning all.

Marg....great news for your daughter. If CIN III is what I think it is, I had it too so if she has any questions...you know where to find me. I don't know how you do all of the things you do in one day. I'm whupped just reading your posts sometimes! LOL ANd yay for difficult child 3!!!!

WO....I don't know about Mega minds....I can't stand Will Farrel in real life but maybe an animated version wouldn't be bad. Hope your day goes smooth.

HZ....Hope the time change goes smoothly for you. I was hoping to make it over your way one last time before winter for some root beer and dogs but didn't make it. Ah well....there's always next year!

As for me...I've got some laundry in and the hair color box out. The gray's are beyond peeking and heading straight to flashing so it's time to do the color again. LOL AFter that I have to take difficult child to get his hair cut and to the grocery store. Supposedly he's down to butter bread and apples. Hmmm...wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that he's had friends there alllllllll week and has probably fed them all. After that it's a birthday party for husband's niece and who knows for this evening. husband is scheduled to get off work at a reasonable time this evening so maybe we'll be able to squeeze in some cards with friends.

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Good morning all...kinda late. I was up at 6:45, thank you H, but went back to snoozing with the dogs!

Marg, I am glad that easy child has confidence in this Dr - I hope all goes smoothly.
Sharon, I love hearing about you and your H's workouts - I think that's so cool that you do that together!
Haozi, time change was always a difficult time for my difficult child; I hope it helps with yours. Hugs~
Stang, I also have to make time for a little coloring, lol. Have fun at the birthday party!

I am actually at my office today. It serves as a way for me to not only catch up on the work I missed this week, but also as a way to steer clear of H for the day. I brought along my homework reading so I will tackle that as well. And I also have some major photocopying to do of my mom's documents for the state, ew. So, that's my day - enjoy yours!

The spring change is very rough on her, the fall change helps. Trying to get her to do her 10s (10 minutes of cleaning her stuff every hour, don't care what she cleans long as she does something).
I think I'm overdue for dying my hair, too. Oh well, there's a reason I don't complain about having to wear a hat at work. :p The place you speak of I have only been to once with a friend, though I've heard about another place like about an hour from here that's supposedly great but always crowded.
H&R hope you have a good day at the office!
