Good thoughts for hubby, please

Hope this new job works out for him. I was an assistant project manager for a general contractor for 8 years. I LOVED my job. When things got tight in 2008, the business couldn't make it and we all lost our jobs. I'm still hopefully things will turn around in the industry and I can go back to what I love. I'm now working for half the pay, in a position that doesn't thrill me, but it's local and the people I work with have become my family. Hope it all works out!

Roll With It
I will keep H in my prayers. It is a tough business to be in, esp right now. If he decides to advertise for smaller jobs, maybe he should emphasize that he cleans up the messes that other contractors create? It would be a niche that might garner some nice projects. I know 2 people in my area who did that for several years. They were very busy and had a lot of repeat clients. They would be called n to fix a problem created by another contractor and then got many calls from the same clients.

I really hope that business picks up for your H.
