Good Morning Friends,

We have a cool day ahead with the temp just reaching 50 and it will be sunny-beautiful for the fall! Yesterday was one extremely rainy day (I hate indoor recesses)!

Tonight after work should be lots of fun. Most of us on my team at work are going out to dinner tonight. We are going to a fondue place (yummmm) but even more exciting is that tonight there is a themed dinner-a mystery-who-dun-it! The entire restaurant staff is involved and customers try to solve it. I've always wanted to go to one of these and can't wait to see how it plays out!

G'day, Sharon.

I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant that specialised in fondue. Sounds like fun! Enjoy yourselves!

I've had a busy day today. Saw my neurologist, took mother in law shopping (very slow because she is increasingly frail) and just got back from having dinner with her.

Tomorrow is special - I won tickets to a major media network's celebration for one of my favourite long-running TV shows (a gardening program). husband & I are going, I will meet him there (it's down the road from where he works). That's tomorrow evening. We'll go have dinner around the corner at our favourite Chinese restaurant, then head home for an earlier night than usual. A good thing, because the next morning it's back into the city for a morning business meeting. It will be hot on Saturday, and I will be stuck inside instead of at the beach working on my Vitamin D. Sunday is also forecast to be heatwave and I might get some sun in. I hope.

Heading for bed now. Need sleeeeeeppp...

Sharon, that sounds really fun. Tell us about it when you come back. The winds have been low around here and driving into my TH complex is all bright red right now! getting into those deep reds and oranges just before the browns now. Last year we were ripped off, had early wind storms and all teh leaves went right away...

Marg, I am SOOO jealous it is summer for you. I really dislike cold and would be fine with winter if only snow, but no cold and much more sun.

it is sunny here though, around the 50's i hear, so a good day for horse back riding for difficult child on his hospital pass. This may be my last night without him! Here's hoping.....
