I'm sort of doing the happy dance.
difficult child- all charges soon to be dismissed upon probation, including
sex crimes and felonies. child still drugging and drinking, living wherever. I'm sure it doesn't take much to read between the lines and sense that I don't think the kid has a clue about right and wrong or any consequences.
easy child- left for college on Sunday. Thank heavens!
easy child 2- enjoying the dance team and 7th grade without the nonsense of her siblings. Of course no contact by her father, since he doesn't wanna deal with me, and he does not have her phone number. Ain't gonna get it either while I pay the bill.
ME - divorced. The order of protection still exists until '11, and no one made any motions to change the situation so far.
ME ++ Thrilled to be done with the ex, difficult child, & easy child 1. No visitation and no contact necessary at this point, except for
some minor supervised contact among the girls (easy child 1&easy child 2),
but, I don't have to answer the phone when she calls.
I'm happy, it's my break time from the nightmare. I feel my
walls are getting stronger every single day.
