Had to bail on the Bolshoi

My impeccable timing with this virus forced me to bow out of the Bolshoi outing with my mom. :( Every performance was sold out, with people lined up hoping for no-show seats until even after the performance ended. Mom took a friend to the Sunday matinee and her cousin got them excellent center orchestra seats -- I'm so happy she enjoyed the show. They only got to visit her cousin for coffee briefly beforehand, which is a shame. He had to go deal with a difficult child dancer who was behaving badly (something about mental health issues and the police) and arrange for him/her to be shipped back home while the rest of the troupe goes on to Beijing.

Maybe I'll catch up with him if he comes around next year...

The Bolshoi Ballet was in town (from Moscow)... my mom's cousin is the tour director and got her free tickets to see them perform Don Quixote. :(

I am sorry. The Ballet would have been Beautiful and you could have been much help with the dancer! Possibly stopped the flight home! LOL
