:xmasdancers: Good Tuesday Morning :xmasdancers:

It's cold here this morning :cold: but this will be the last really cold day until after Christmas! Apparently we will be in the 50's daily. Doesn't leave much hope for white Christmas here in central virginia :sled:

Today is difficult child's last day of school for Christmas break! He is really excited and asked if we could go out for dinner tonight to celebrate!! So, we are going out to our local Japanese streak house (you now, where they cook right on your table top) :sushi: It's our favorite place to eat, but we don't go too often because it's really pricey.

We head off to the beach tomorrow. difficult child is having some anxiety issues because I decided to stay at a different hotel. It's part of the same hotel group, but I was able to get a lovely suite for the same amount of points as a regular room at our usual place (cashing in points for a free room). He's "threatening" me with staying with his dad

Hope your Tuesday is a good one,
Sharon :gingerbread:

Good Morning,

Sharon-Have to laugh at difficult child threatening you with staying with his dad :rofl:Enjoy your dinner tonight and the getaway sounds great!

Feels like it's going to be another long day. Last night after the health club and then after difficult child fell asleep husband and I went out to do some last minute shopping (still not totally done). I decided we were treating ourselves to some new books as difficult child and easy child were both major pitas yesterday!

Tonight after work easy child has a club meeting then it's home just in time to get difficult child to wrestling and then maybe the health club but then again maybe not tonight. I feel like I'm running on empty.

I hope everyone enjoys a day with many reasons to smile and laugh :rudolph:

Good morning friends,

Sharon, excuse me, but you will have to define "cold" for me. I doubt it's the same cold I have here in MN. Ah....to live in Virginia this morning.

Sharon II, running on empty isn't good. I think you should stay home & enjoy those new books tonight. Just a thought.

I'm off to the opthamologist (sp?) this morning as I'm having many issues with my eyes & this new syndrome I'm contending with. I'm juggling several different pair of glasses & prescriptions.

I told husband that I'm going to invest in a tabletop Christmas tree - just don't have it in me to get a tree up. husband doesn't have the time between work & juggling kt & PCAs for me at this time. He's trying to get into practice for my Mayo Clinic run. God bless em.

Need to stop at Best Buy to pick up kt's "big" gift then home for a nap. (I've mapped this out carefully - am only allowed to drive during daylight hours & 10 miles a day or I'll lose my license.)

A bit of garland & a couple of big red bows to put up & I'm done for this season. It's not a lot, but it will be pretty.

Enjoy your Tuesday.

:snowman: Ok Linda, I know that 21 degrees may feel to mild to you, but it's cold to us!!!!! :snowman:

I tell you what, I'll trade you a day in the 50's for a day of enough snow to close the schools - no, no, let me rephrase that. Around here they close the schools at 1-2 inches!! I'll take ten please :skate: :sled:

G'day, everyone.

Sharon I, enjoy your dinner and the hotel sounds wonderful. It will be good if difficult child stays with you and learns that change can be fun sometimes. And if he doesn't, then enjoy the space.

Sharon II, it's a tiring time of year. Hang in there, try to grab some moments for yourself to recharge your batteries.

Linda, I hope the eye doctor (that's easier) can give you some answers. mother in law has problems with her eyes, she can never get her glasses right. Depending on the level of muscle fatigue her glasses can be too weak or two strong - from minute to minute sometimes.

We had a tiring day. mother in law & I saw our GP - for the last time, it turns out. He is getting out of general practice and finally diving in to specialising in pain management. Research and study for the next two years, then hanging up his shingle again as a specialist after that. He handed us our medical files and tomorrow I hand them to the new GP we've been grooming.

difficult child 3's drama class presentation was tonight - we enjoyed it thoroughly, but it was also a farewell to the teacher. We're hoping to find a replacement for next year but it's a big ask.

difficult child 3's late getting to bed tonight, I don't know how many times I've been interrupted. Then I lose my train of thought and have to start over. Then he interrupts again and it happens over and over and over and...

I'm getting to bed ASAP tonight.

Good Morning All, still chilly here but nothing like you guys are having.

Want difficult child to finish all school work today, so I can turn it in tomorrow or Thursday. Hoping he will go to work with his dad Thursday and Friday. easy child has 1/2 day Friday. I really need a day to myself, shooting for Thursday - we will see.

Everyone up north try and stay as warm as possible.

Hope everyone has a great day.
