difficult child is on ss disability.
We have private health insurance through husband's employment.
We kept her on this plan.
In Jan. we were told to pick an HMO through her disability.
One was chosen.
We just got a letter stating that she is no longer eligible for her HMO plan and its been cancelled because she has the private policy.
husband tried to call the local office and can not get through to anyone.
A couple of questions:
1) Can someone on disability, also have a private health insurance policy? Can you have two plans?
2) Is there a separate number just for health insurance questions?
