how hard is it to set up a laptop?

I have a DSL connection at home and we currently have one desktop computer. It's being replaced by 2 laptops.

I have a D-Link router already, because I had temporary use of a laptop from work. Not knowing much when I hooked that up, I didn't save the key.

I was able to hook up the router myself a few months back, is it likely that I could set up the 2 laptops without bringing in $technical help$?

It is super easy for me - "Here husband, please set this up for me!"

Other than that? No clue! I am always looking for the easy way out with computers.

Your laptops should have wireless cards in them and they should find the wireless connection when you turn it on. It should be very easy.

If by a key you mean the encryption key, it should be on the bottom of the router.
