Before age twenty:
My parents house (lost in foreclosure before my first birthday)
Apt downtown
Apt on the east side
Rented house on the city market
Rented up/down duplex in center city (from 1st grade until 10th grade)
Apt in center city (age 16 until age twenty)
Clearwater, Fl:
3 apts in one year:
A party house, boyfriend & I left after two weeks because we couldn't tolerate the goings on of the other roommates
A small hole-in-the-wall for 1 month until we found something better
then a nice little apt in a better neighborhood
Then transferred back to WNY: one apt
Then transferred to NH:
one crappy little place we had to settle on quick until we found a great apt condo in a new development
Back to WNY: another apt, eventually broke up with boyfriend, moved in with a friend in Buffalo, moved two more times to other apts.
Met future husband, decided against moving to NYC, moved in with him later that year. Married one year later (Oct 97), closed on this house Oct 98.
I've finally got roots!

Since marriage:
1 apt., 1 house in WI,
1 townhouse in MD,
1 house in NY
3 houses in WI again
This last house we built & have been here for 10 years, the longest of any place we've lived.

I think I have folks beat: My dad was a DOD civilian so here goes:

Born KC, MO

(Then I married an Air Force guy):

And at all the overseas places we moved a minimum of two times due to housing issues.
