I saw this in the paper if anyone is interested....

"How to Advocate for Your Child: Tips from Special Education Directors," will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Jewish Council for Youth Services family center, 1700 Weiland Rd. in Buffalo Grove. The program is free and open to the public.

Sheila,

It's about 10 miles northwest of me.

I do not know the people whose names were mentioned--and perhaps that is good. I tend to know about the school administrators in the area who violate the law--which is sad but true.

The organization sponsoring is independent but the speakers are not. If anyone in the Chicago area goes to this, I'd be interested in hearing about it. I cannot go because I am teaching tht evening.

Thanks for the information.

Martie
