difficult child moved into a transitional living program today! She's safe and will be encouraged to find a job, get food stamps and will have access to counselors, mentors, decent living conditions, etc. I am so happy!!!
Wow, that was quick! I am so happy for you, I know that deep sense of relief we feel when our kids are safe.........this is great news! You did all the right things...........

Thank you! I do have that small worry in the back of my mind that she'll do something to screw this up, but for today she is safe. I keep telling myself that every day we can keep her alive and off hard drugs, she's growing more mature and learning new life lessons and eventually she'll be okay.
