Eeyore thinks he can give me a run for my money. Ha! After Kanga, there is not a easy child or even a easy child/difficult child that can throw me off my stride.

Eeyore was left home alone for a couple of hours as he had been showing that he could handle it. He got on the computer and went to a porn site. He isn't smart enough to cover his tracks. It took me about 30 seconds to discover he'd been on husband's computer and what sites he was on.

Eeyore threw a fit about being in trouble and kicked a hole in his wall, smashed a ceramic pencil holder and generally threw stuff around his room (at a easy child-ish level). He is now promising to get 5 detentions tomorrow if he gets punished. Um, yep, he is getting punished for all of the above and he will get additional punishments for getting detentions.

He says that eventually I will run out of punishments.



Did he miss the police, the phosps and the 3 years of Residential Treatment Center (RTC) that his sister got? Does he really think that he can threaten me into letting him do whatever he wants???

I just checked on him and he is cleaning his room (without being asked). He's a easy child at heart and he just doesn't have what it takes to go to the difficult child-level Thank God!!!

Let's see...he has 4 classes plus lunch so if he gets 1 detention per class. His only problem is that every single teacher will send him to the vice principal and as soon as she says "Eeyore, sweetie, what is wrong." He'll spill his guts

LOL - from a child as easy child as Eeyore, thinking he can threaten you into letting him do what he wants surely counts as Magical Thinking, doesn't it? LOL

As for running out of punishments, LOLOL!!! At about age 7 or 8 Wiz thought that the reason adults had parties on New Year's Eve and didn't let kids come to the party was so that we could spend the evening thinking up new ways to make our kids miserable and punish them.
