This is one reason I am glad I am poor too...lol.
My family can be glad I didnt die when I almost did though. Things would have been very difficult for everyone. Tony and I arent married. My house is in my name alone. No will. I had a life insurance policy I didnt know I had. My car was in my name alone and was still being financed. My bank accounts are in my name alone. Most of the bills come in my name.
The only saving grace would have been that because I wasnt in a nursing home, they wouldnt have come after my house for repaying medicaid. However, my boys would have had to go completely through probate to get all my stuff and give it to Tony...or put it in their names for him to use. It would have been a huge mess. Now I just make sure I get my flu and pneumonia shots...lol.
