The only things that are supposed to be cold and wet are the noses of dogs and cats. At least dogs- I'm not sure about cats.

But I am sure that my feet aren't supposed to be. I had to walk thru saturated ground to get to visit difficult child today, then sit there with wet feet for almost 2 hours then drive home. I don't know if I will ever feel warm again!

I feel bad for difficult child- I could come home and put on warm dry socks- he isn't allowed to change his socks until he takes a shower tonight and his feet got wet, too. :( They have to wear paper-thin sweats, although they do get a coat and gloves. They get thermal underwear for Christmas- I guess no one in Department of Juvenile Justice cares that we are already having temps in the 20's.

Brrrr. I hope you are drinking hot tea and snuggled up with a blankie.

Thinking of difficult child during this time and praying that he keeps making progress and when he's home he will appreciate those things we seem to take for granted. Like changing our wet socks. Hugs, ML
