There was another article about the same family - totoro posted on it under "Early Intervention for Autism!"
As I said then - if only. We identified difficult child 3 when he was 2, officially diagnosed before he was 3, but the only early intervention we could get was at 4, half a day a week. We've done it all, ourselves. Developed it ourselves. Worked it ourselves.
It can be done. If the system can't provide the support, you can do it yourself AND SUCCEED.
