Just won’t stop, at a loss

Of course my son comes home today from a friend’s house and is wasted. This isn’t stopping anytime soon. He broke glass all over in his room and is crying like a baby. It’s everyone else’s fault, he won’t take responsibility. I’m afraid if I put him out he will only come back. I told him to sleep it off. He seems to want attention. Attention I just can’t give him. Everyday just gets ruined. How do you make them wake up. Everyone in my family is going to be in counseling except him. WTH

I'm sorry. I know this is awful. You really do need to put him out of the house for good as it is affecting everyone negatively. He carries on with life as he wants to while everyone around him is trying to pick up the pieces after him. It's time he lives with the consequences of his actions. If loving him could fix him it would have worked by now. Please do something kind for yourself to take your mind off of him. Sending peace to you.

Thank you. The guilt is something a mother will carry. But I tried. I am at the MH now trying to apply for a 302 to commit him. It will be the 7th time. 2nd time this year. I am not taking him home this time.

So sorry to hear this. How are you holding up.

Been there/done that.

How old is your son?
