Found the receipt at home. The injection was Vetalog ($22.00, by the way). There is still no licking interest. Yeah!
The Vet said he would be extra thirsty for awhile and that has proven to be true. Otherwise no change in his daily life other than the elimination of the licking problem Reading various dog posts I realize that I really am not as aware of canine treatments etc. as I probably should be. I'm aware of general health and patterns of behavior but I do just "trust the Doctor" with the dogs......just like I used to "trust the Doctor" in the 60's when I had babies and very little sophistication. That's not something I'm proud of but it is just the way it is. "No Excuses" I do value the input you guys give. Thanks. DDD
