When we got home from church this morning I told E to put his shoes in the Shoe Box (a bin I keep beside the door). He just grumbled a bit and I went on to change my clothes. I walked back through the house and found his socks in the kitchen floor. I said 'Why are your socks in the middle of the floor?!' He just looked at me and said 'well there isn't a sock box.' I seriously LOL'd. He was dead serious and that made it even more comical. And he made a very valid point. ;) Kid keeps me on my toes!

That is SO typical of Aspie/Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) thinking.
They can be totally logical... and totally impractical at the same time!

Insane, I couldn't have said that any better myself. That is soooooooo spectrumy.

Jamie, I'm glad you can see the humor in it. THAT is going to be huge. You can see the other side of the thought process. It IS interesting sometimes. Keep questioning him. You might be totally amazed at "where he's coming from".
