You know what I have discovered? Back there in the lunch meat/ hot dog/ meat section where they have those pre-cooked meals and pre-cooked sliced chicken/beef and side dishes? The ones that are too expensive to buy normally? Well they put them on markdown every so often because no one really buys those things I guess...lol. If you can catch them the day they go on markdown and buy them up and stick them in the freezer you have some really good cheap meals.
I have used the pot roast, the sliced beef strips, the sliced chicken strips, the potatos, the glazed apples, the mashed sweet taters. They are all really good. Normally they go on sale for under 2 bucks a pack. I think the glazed apples were a buck a pack. I used the beef strips with baked potatos and had beef tips with baked potatos...they were yummy. I still have another pack or two left to make fajitas.
