Although school is out, summer can be a stressful time with difficult children. Often we get so caught up in the drama and chaos of gfgdom that we forget to take care of ourselves. Or heck, we're just so stressed out that we can't even manage to think of ways to help us to relax and enjoy a part of our day. So? What are some of the things you do to help yourself destress and to find a little peace during the day? Over the years I've come up with many interests that give me pleasure. Reading a good Dean Koontz book, knitting or crocheting, drawing, gardening..... But my tried and true method of relaxation is maybe a bit unusual. lol I play the Sims. It's a computer game that simulates real life. Lots of fun. And I don't have to have difficult children if I don't want them. Sort of like playing Barbies and dollhouse all rolled up into a computer game.
