...that she wants to go away to college next year. She's researched, talked to some of her friends at different colleges, has chosen one, and emailed for more info. If she likes what she hears/sees, we'll go up and check it out. It's in Northern CA, about 7 hours away, they have dorms and meal plans, and she's very excited.
I'm looking forward to watching her take this next step into responsible adulthood (keeping fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly).
