N-"Mom? Do you know why I want a Poodle and they are great for Valenstimes...?"

Me-"No, I don't"

N-"Because you get to dye them pink" "Did you know that the adult ones are white and black and that the baby ones are the caramel colored ones?'

Me-"No, I did not realize this, do they taste like caramel?"

N-"No"

Me-"How do you know"

N-"Because they are Poodles"

Me-"Can you color the Black Poodles?"

N-" No only the white ones, the black ones wouldn't color"

Me-"Do you think you would taste the baby caramel one just to see?'

I remember when I was in my teens and pastel colours were in fashion, the fashion magazine I used to regularly buy had a great spread on pastel colours in scarves, beanies and gloves. To highlight the article, they had got some young lambs and dyed them in the same pastel shades, for the models to pose with. Very cute. I actually used the idea to knit myself a beanie and scarf in the same pastel shades. I still have these somewhere. I'd better dig out that beanie, it's got plenty of room in it to cover even my head completely. Winter is coming and I will need it!
