I think it's encouraging that he complied with your request to clean up his myspace. If it were me I would give him a chance to prove that he was going to be appropriate with this girl. You are watching closely and can close it down if you need, but why don't you try giving him a chance to show he can comply.

I think you are doing the right thing. You and husband are showing a united front and that is imprtant. In light of the VA Tech shooting, kids have to know that what they put on myspace is going to come under scrutiny, as well it should.

I really appreciate the feedback. I am leaning that way now too if husband agrees. I just wonder what parents would do if they really checked out their kid's myspaces and language used when chatting. It is so appalling, even good kids I teach.
