Any news on how she's doing? Were they able to give her that medicine right away that lessens the effects of a stroke?

No news yet. husband and I are waiting on tenterhooks, and will phone R tonight if we don't hear anything before that.
R and L were out hiking for hours on the day it happened. The doctors think she had a small stroke while they were out, and then another much bigger one when they got back to their hotel. I'm not sure what medical treatments they were able to give her immediately, but fortunately Phoenix seems to have wonderful medical facilities so she is getting excellent care.
I will post as soon as I find out something. In the meantime, I'm just praying like crazy.
