((((HUGS)))) Many of those dying refuse pain medications because they want to hold on to that pain - it's an indication they are still alive. Just another point of view to explore.

I hope she will accept whatever will give her relief from the pain. Lisa is totally right about pain medications just giving relief after a few doses. Heck, I rarely get loopy even those first few doses - I just get the relief.

Whatever is best for her is what I am praying for. Love and hugs to your family.
