As a follow-up to the post about my friend's difficult child who was hearing voices, he is now, safe and sound, in a children's hospital. He should be getting all the things she tried to get for him before resorting to this. He is going to have a neuropsychologist evaluation, which she couldn't get to save her life before his admission. He is also going to be started on medications for the voices--he had a terrible reaction to Risperdal so it will likely be Seroquel, they said. Thanks for everyone who gave advice. He is adjusting well.

I'm happy to read that another child will have the opportunity to be fully evaluated and hopefully helped. DDD
