Need good thoughts!

Duckie auditioned for another play on Monday... it's with the same local troupe that did the Wizard of Oz. She did very well (I think!) but is a little (okay... a lot) anxious about whether or not she'll make it in.

It was a closed audition with only the troupe's creative director (who also directed the WOZ) and the new show's creator/director (who played the Cowardly Lion in the WOZ) so it was pretty non-threatening. She had to sing her favorite Christmas song a capella and be prepared to talk about her favorite holiday memories. It was cute. She prepared notes about her memories and the director asked to keep her copy because he may try to incorporate it into the show. He asked her if she had a big family and she answered "YES!". He asked her how many brothers & sisters she has and she said "None... but I have a lot of cousins!".

So... we'd appreciate any good thoughts since she really wants this badly. We should know sometime this weekend.

Fingers and toes crossed for Duckie! And when she becomes famous on Broadway, all of her board aunties can say that we knew her "way back when"!

Thanks everyone. :)

She was a lot calmer about it this evening (thankfully!). But she still is very excited and impatient to get word.

:xmasdancers:A Star Is Born! :xmasdancers:

She was selected to play the youngest daughter in a family with three daughters. They are all together in a big farmhouse with all the extended family on Christmas Eve. Should be fun!
