Hi there, chiming in my turn. Mine is more than capable of being a terror at well, at first it was mostly at home and more and more showed at school as she got older. I'm still reading The Explosive Child and learning how to redirect my difficult child, watched her go into "vapor lock" today while we were in Detroit (great choice kiddo! oy!) to drop my boyfriend off at the Canada Tunnel. Did manage to figure out a way to pull her emotional self out of a full meltdown that she was on the verge of (she was already slapping at me and doing the "leave me alone!" thing), so even though I haven't finished reading it yet I have to say being pointed at that book here by several people has already started paying off as a great piece of advice.
