Oh MWM you are cracking me up!! When it comes to appliances I'm old school. Not that long ago I had to buy a new wasing machine, WOW there are some very fancy and very expensive machines out there. I could see the disappointment in the eyes of the salesman when I told him I wanted a plain washing machine, nothing digital, I want knobs that turn. He kept trying to convince me that a new "front loader" was the way to go. I told him my sister in-law has one that she hates because after a while it started to smell like mildew to which he replied, "there's a product you need to use that cleans the machine", at that point I started to laugh. I said, "seriously, it's a washing machine and you're telling me that I would have to purchase a different product to wash the washing machine?" I very politley told him "I want a basic machine, if you do not have one I will go elsewhere" He surrendered and showed me what I wanted. I don't know how I would handle appliances that "sing" to you. As long as it's just alarms and singing you'll be fine but if they start attacking RUN!!!!!!
