No job, but a great training class!

Hubby is eligible for a 37 week Microsoft Network training class! It's given here in town, he can ride his bike to/from, Workforce Connection is paying for all training supplies, and he can continue to collect unemployment during training.

He starts on Monday! Please continue to rattle/dance/etc. for our financial situation, since I won't work/get paid all summer long. We're sitting down tonight to plot out what we can cut for the duration.

I'm so excited for him!

Mary, that's wonderful news. I'm delighted that he's getting additional job training during this downtime. It's such a good use of his time and it will make him that much more marketable.

Can you tutor during the summer? A lot of teachers I know make extra cash that way. Is there a need for it there?

Once I find out about knee surgery, I'll have a better idea of what I can/can't do over the summer. I'll get the referral to the ortho tomorrow.
