husband and Duckie have spent the last hour or so discussing and practicing cube roots and other algebraic equations.

My family is weird, lol!

Good for them!!! Math CAN be fun. I used to tell my kids and my students that all the time. I always got "yea, right!"

Your "summer fun" made me a bit jealous. Son is supposed to play such games with me. He is so good at math, but for some strange reason claims to hate it, and therefore struggles. At least I still have DD2 up on deck who asks for math worksheets when she's bored.

Oh... she's not interested in practicing math facts. She wants to figure out complex algorithms and get a grasp on exponentials.

husband is going to have to check her math homework from now on. lol!
