It's been ten years since we had the ankle bracelet so maybe they've modernized them with GPS or ??? The one we had they could use to "spot check" (usually in the evening) and to identify "runners". Sadly wearing the ankle bracelet was seen as an indication of a "bad xxx" at school. Sigh! DDD
