One of those days

When in the kitchen checking on dinner (chicken and veggies in the crock pot) I could not figure out why it wasn't cooking. Duh, if you don't plug it in it can't cook. You would think with the fact that the cat stalked me the entire time I was putting it all in the crock pot she could have told me it wasn't plugged in but Noooooooo. I think I saw her laugh at me though when I realized it wasn't.

Ahh well at leasted I noticed it now and not say 4 hours from now.

Just put chicken and veggies in crock pot also while kitty was standing there watching for anything to fall from counter.
I did plug mine in first though

What else do you put in the crock along with the chicken and veggies? Is it boneless chicken? We're having chicken tonight, but it's too late for the crock so I have to come up with something creative. I hate that some days.

I usually put a package of gravy mix in there for flavor. Sometimes some spices too. Just depends what I am in the mood for when I throw it all in.
