Our annual cookoff is this coming weekend.....

I'm delighted to be getting out of town to have some fun. The cuisine is Chinese & I'm already stomping the Asian markets for pork bellies, rice flour, lotus filling & black sesame seeds.

As this will be cooking on sight at my dad's house we're all bring our camp stoves, woks & will be stir frying in the back yard on various picnic & other tables my dad has pulled out of storage.

Good food, good family & happy memories. Hoping I bring the traveling trophy home this year ~ it's the 1st year in many that I'm giving it a serious try.

that's sounds great!!! My favorite cuisine is Asian (and I cook Asian food at least twice a week).

I dont know how to cook asian unless I buy the frozen stir fry veggies in a bag from the grocery store! One day one of you is going to have to teach me!
