Out of District Placement-Questions

I posted in general, but I thought I'd post here too.

My difficult child has been granted out of district placement into a program for children with social/emotional/behavioral issues. husband and I are going to visit the program tomorrow. (I have questions), but am wondering from the board what other questions might you ask about the program?

You received some good suggestions on the General Forum. My only other suggestion would be to ask about the type of student served. My son is in an ED program for socially and emotionally fragile students. After he was placed in the program, we discovered that most of the kids there have AS/High-Functioning Autism (HFA). My son does not have either AS or High-Functioning Autism (HFA), and he feels like a fish out of water. He has not made any friends and is very lonely. We plan to raise this issue at his IEP review meeting in late October.
