Positive Thinking (?)

hearts and roses

Mind Reader
Things have been so crappy lately that I have no energy and can't seem to crack a smile, my outlook has been so bleak and we're not over the h.u.m.p yet.

This morning, I read through the "Good Thursday Morning" thread and all the way down all I could think was, "What's so Good about it??" lol. But then I started thinking about how sometimes finding the bright spot, sometimes the seemingly ONLY bright spot, can turn the day around. So, I'm trying. And I thought if I posted at least one or a few things I'm thankful for today - really put it out there - and some of you also posted one or two things you are thankful for or can find to be happy about, it might make for a better day. So, if you feel inclined, please add to the list.

I am grateful that my H makes the coffee every morning! :coffee:

I am grateful that the increase in difficult child's medications seems to be helping her. :hypnosis:

I am grateful that difficult child dumped her stupid-head boyfriend last night.

I am grateful that my 19pc is finally DOING more for herself a little. :reading:

I happy that I own AC's and my house is small enough that it won't cost me a fortune to run them. :beach:

Lastly, I am happy I have such a flexible job, for our PCP DR, and my dogs. :bravo:

Great thread, Jo.
I'm glad you can find so much good in your life.
I'm thankful that Duckie's blood work came back clean: no lupus, no RA, negative to peanut, milk and egg allergy.
I'm thankful I have enough to get by and then some.
I'm thankful I'm developing some friendships and so is Duckie.
I'm thankful that my husband is starting to "get it".
I'm thankful for all the support I've received here for the last 3+ years.

For my loving family and friends

I'm always grateful having made it through another day with-o some major crisis.

I'm grateful for the quiet time each morning to sit & watch the growing bird sanctuary in my backyard. It's peaceful.

I'm grateful for my piano & the fact that playing has gotten me through some very hard times.

And...I'm grateful that it's golf season.

I am grateful for:

The roof over my head
The food in my fridge
The clothes on my back
My precious children
My caring friends and family
My sobriety
The money I have in the bank
My vehicle that runs
The medical care that my kids and I are receiving
No smoking for 1 month!

I'm grateful for

1. A beautiful day with the birds singing.
2. My child asleep upstairs.
3. The fact I can work at home and make enough money to support us.
4. The pets in this house who make me laugh and give me comfort.
5. Farmers' markets! I love the fresh produce!

It's good to be reminded there are things that make us smile and give us comfort amidst the battles.
