Mahalo nui Lil, as Kalahou would say, we are going to be alright. Latest track shows the storm veering away, we are not out of the woods just yet, but it is looking a bit better than last nights tracking.
Thank you so much for your prayers!
Thank you everyone, we are still sitting tight as the storm has slowed to a crawl but downgraded to category two. Oahu is supposed to see the heaviest weather late afternoon. Big Island has nonstop rains and flooding. Rainbow falls has quadrupled in size. Maui subjected to high winds and two big fires to deal with.
We have some strong gusts and then it gets quiet and hot.
When Lane passes, I am going to have a big glass of wine.
Thank you guys for your love and prayers.
Update, Lane has broken up into a tropical storm but has left a huge band of rain and thunderstorms. Big Island is inundated with rain and flooding. They are expecting this rain to move down the island chain.
That is a much better outlook than hurricane status. Forecasters are still warning us that the weather may be extreme into the weekend.
Prayers going up for my Big Island friends and those that suffered loss in Maui due to the fires.
Feeling blessed to be spared so far.
Thank you guys for your well wishes and prayers.
