I read a lot...I mean a lot a lot, because one of my side gigs is reviewing new books. My preferences are many and varied, but the one thing I insist on a book having is a "gotcha" moment, a "hey, wow, I didn't see THAT one coming" moment. I've found several lately that I've really enjoyed, and I would like to pass them on to the readers of the group.

-Watch Me Disappear by Janelle Brown
-Jar of Hearts by Jennifer Hillier
-Somebody's Daughter by David Bell
-Not That I Could Tell by Jessica Strawser
-Before and Again by Barbara Delinsky
-The Sugarhouse Blues by Mariah Stewart
-The High Season by Judy Blundell
-The Family Next Door by Sally Hepworth
-Baby Teeth by Zoje Stage
-The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah
-Educated by Tara Westover
-Holding by Graham Norton

The Tracy Crosswhite series by Robert Dugoni for those who like police stories is good - I believe book 6 just came out.

Hi, KTM

Do you read non-fiction books?

If so, do you know any good books on South American history? Or any country in Latin America?

Or kid/teen historical fiction set in any of those countries?
