If you enjoy soda, especially when bottled or canned in single serving size, but HATE the cost, here is a tip.

Gather enough bottles to pour 64 ounces in. Make sure they are clean and dry. When you open a new 2 liter bottle (most affordable size around here!) pour your cup and then pour the rest into the clean smaller bottles.

The cleaned bottles retain the fizz and can save substantial amounts of $$, esp if you keep them cold and grab one when heading to the store.

20 oz bottles of Coke are now $1.48 at my local WalMart!!! 20 oz!!!!!

Soda in restaurants now is routinely close to $2.50!! We spoke with my kids and they have chosen to drink water at restaurants and be able to buy 2 liter sodas to drink at home.
